About the role

The IT Project Support Officer works with the Senior ICT Project and Business Partner to plan, schedule and implement strategic ICT projects in line with business and college needs. They are part of the wider Information Support Team dealing with the administration, compliance, security and audit requirements of ICT while supporting effective change management and continuous improvement of technology services to the College.

To be successful in this role you will have experience in
• Working in a fast paced, multifaceted work environment.
• An understanding of change management principles, methodologies and tools.
• Experience in supporting the delivery of projects/programs with a strong focus on building collaborative relationships with stakeholders.
• Good understanding of the evolving security and privacy aspects of IT.

Other Conditions and Eligibility

Eligibility for employment is subject to obtaining a satisfactory Department of Education Criminal Clearance. If this position involves contact with children, the recommended occupant will also be required to obtain a Working with Children (WWC) Card.

To be eligible for appointment applicants must have a working visa (for fixed term contract appointments) or permanent residency (for permanent appointments).

Over the next twelve (12) months; candidates found “Suitable” through this process may be offered appointment to similar & subsequent vacancies within the College, within other TAFE Colleges or across WA Government (subject to candidate permission being granted).
