About
the role
As the IT&D Manager-Sustainability, you will lead and manage the development and implementation of IT solutions that support the company's sustainability goals. This role offers a unique opportunity to build a new function from the ground up, driving innovation and scalability to support Essential Home’s business strategy.
The ideal candidate is a self-starter, pragmatic and loves a challenge. You thrive in a dynamic environment and are action and result oriented. You will drive initiatives that enhance environmental performance, reduce carbon footprint, and promote sustainable practices across the organization.
Your responsibilities
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate sustainability considerations into IT operations and business processes.
• Conduct research and analysis to identify innovative technologies and best practices in sustainability.
• Define and prioritize IT projects and initiatives that contribute to sustainability goals.
• Monitor and report on the performance of sustainability initiatives, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.
• Ensure compliance with environmental regulations and standards in all IT projects and operations.
• Provide training and support to employees on the use of sustainable IT solutions and practices.
• Advocate for sustainability within the organization and promote a culture of environmental responsibility.The experience we're looking for

A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Environmental Science, or a related field.
Proven experience in IT project management, with a focus on sustainability initiatives.
Strong understanding of sustainability principles and practices.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with stakeholders at all levels.
Proficiency in using project management tools and software.
A proactive and innovative mindset, with a passion for sustainability.
