Job Description

Northwest Mississippi Community College is seeking an IT Business Systems Project Coordinator to enhance the college's business information systems. The role involves coordinating with internal and external teams, managing data migrations to cloud environments, and liaising with the Director of Information Systems. Qualifications include project management experience, strong communication skills, and a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience. This position is based in Senatobia, MS and is not remote.
The IT Business Systems Project Coordinator is responsible for improving the college's business information systems and coordinating with both internal and external teams to work items completed timely. The Coordinator will work directly with the Director of Information Systems as liaison between the College and the implementation partner for the College's Enterprise Application Cloud migration project and any future projects.

QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED
• Proven working experience in project management
• Experience with process improvement
• Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multitasking skills
• Critical Analytical/Problem solving ability
• Self-starter with team development and motivation abilities
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office
• Bachelor's Degree in appropriate field of study or equivalent work experience in a relevant field

QUALIFICATIONS PREFERRED
• Prior experience managing data migrations from old to new
• Experience in IT utilizing a SaaS system
• Experience with Oracle Cloud ERP Finance, HR/Payroll and/or Student Cloud
• Prior experience in Higher Education

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• Work directly with the Director of Information Systems as a liaison between the College and the implementation partner for the College's Enterprise Application Cloud migration project and any future projects
• Work to coordinate and complete the project within scope and budget in accordance with the established timeline
• Work with stakeholders to gather, document and manage the requirements for data migrations from an on premise datacenter to a cloud environment
• Work with departmental users to setup workflows and define processes in the system, and configure the system accordingly
• Coordinate comprehensive project plans and training schedules to share with users
• Oversee all aspects of this projects and any future projects
• Prepare reports for upper management regarding status of project
• Manage the relationship with the client and all stakeholders
• Migration of implemented systems to mainstream support upon project completion
• Use and continually develop leadership skills
• Attend conferences and training as required to maintain proficiency
• Perform other related duties as assigned by Director of Information Systems

• and decision-making ability.
