Job Description

Crux Climate Inc. is seeking an Investment Execution professional in Seattle, WA, to drive tax equity transactions for clean energy projects. Responsibilities include structuring deals, financial modeling, due diligence, and managing partnerships. The role involves origination and execution of renewable energy investments, preparing investment memos, and supporting discussions with developers. The team consists of experts in energy and finance, focused on enhancing clean energy financing.
Clean Energy Finance Made More Efficient and Interconnected

We are in the midst of a critical period where energy demand is rising for the first time in decades, prompting an urgent need for more infrastructure to deliver affordable and reliable electricity.

New infrastructure requires strong and secure domestic supply chains for minerals and components, as well as large amounts of capital. Connecting to the necessary financing at each stage of a project lifecycle can present challenges for developers and manufacturers.
Our Solution

Crux is the capital markets platform revolutionizing the way clean energy and manufacturing projects are financed in the U.S.

We provide liquidity, efficiency, and intelligence – including market-leading price indices and reports – for every type of financing conducted on the platform.

Crux runs the leading transferable tax credit platform, which has expanded our capabilities to help all partners – developers & manufacturers, banks & advisors, and corporate tax teams – transact in debt, tax equity, and preferred equity investments.
Key Market Trends
• About 30% of transfers are from tax equity structures, according to our 2024 Market Intelligence Report.
• These markets are increasingly intertwined, and we are leaning further into our support for tax equity alongside transferability.
Our Team

Our team of experts, comprising over 30 individuals with backgrounds in energy, financial markets, government, marketplaces, and workflow software, is dedicated to delivering exceptional results.

We have raised approximately $27 million from top investors, including Andreessen Horowitz, Lowercarbon Capital, New System Ventures, Overture, Ardent Venture Partners, QED, Canapi, and others.

This funding is complemented by strategic investors who collectively generate billions of dollars of tax credits annually.
