Your role
Do you enjoy working in dynamic teams? Are you excited by the opportunity to work on complex transactions for clients? Are you solution oriented? We’re looking for someone like that who can:
• work together with senior bankers to originate business, including developing pitch book presentations and financial modelling;
• coordinate with our product team partners and sector coverage team located locally and in other geographies to develop cross-product ideas;
• build and maintain client relationships to expand their network;
• actively participate in all phases of the transaction process including financial modeling, due diligence, internal credit approval, drafting investor materials and bookrunning investors;
• work across a variety of transaction types within UBS’ Leveraged Capital Markets and Structured Solutions team; and
• develop a broad skill base including an understanding of a range of UBS industry sectors and product groups.

Your team
You’ll be working in the Leveraged Finance and Structured Solutions team within the Investment Banking division (UBS Global Banking), based in Sydney.

Your expertise
• 3 to 6 years' experience gained from working in investment banking, accountancy, law, strategic consultancy or a similar financial services profession, with a track record of success;
• strong academic results;
• strong financial analysis skills, with the ability to produce accurate presentation material quickly (you get it, and can communicate it to others);
• able to communicate clearly and work effectively as part of a team;
• a team player and able to work under pressure, with the ability to produce presentation material, financial analysis and provide recommendations, quickly and accurately;
• a great communicator with strong interpersonal skills;
• always looking to expand your skill set, including relationship building; and
• committed to a career in investment banking.
