Job Description

ASML is offering a full-time internship in Environmental, Health & Safety in Wilton, CT. The intern will support the EH&S team by engaging in daily activities, conducting risk assessments, audits, incident investigations, and assisting in training sessions. Candidates must be enrolled in a college program related to Environmental/Occupational Health & Safety. This role provides hands-on experience and opportunities to develop a professional network.
About the position

ASML US is seeking a highly-motivated intern to support the Environmental Health & Safety (EH&S) team in Wilton, Connecticut. The intern will engage in daily EH&S activities, assisting in the development and implementation of Workplace Health & Safety Programs. This role offers hands-on experience through shadowing EH&S personnel, participating in risk assessments, audits, incident investigations, and training sessions, while promoting a culture of safety and injury prevention within the organization.

Responsibilities
• Improve workplace performance by promoting an incident-free workplace, identifying and mitigating risks and implementing corrective actions.

• Assist/support the Wilton EH&S Department on a daily basis.
,
• Assist/support in incident investigations, development of root cause analysis, and identify corrective actions.
,
• Assist/support with risk assessments (JSA, ergonomic assessments, etc.) as needed to reduce workplace injuries.
,
• Assist/support in audits, report findings, and assist in development of corrective actions.
,
• Assist/support in development and delivery of workplace EH&S trainings.
,
• Assist/support with special projects.
,
• Data collection and analysis.
,
• Conduct business with the highest ethical standards and demonstrate decision-making skills that ensure the safety of all persons associated with ASML operations.

• Other relevant duties as assigned.

Requirements
• Must be enrolled in college/university taking at least one class in the semester (spring/fall) prior to participation in the program and then shall return to college/university for at least one semester after completion of this program.

• Undergraduate or Master's degree, preferably in Environmental/Occupational Health & Safety or Safety, Security, Emergency Management.
,
• Knowledge and understanding of Federal OSHA, State, and Local safety regulations.
