Intern/Co-Op MBA -NorthStar Clean Energy

Consumers Energy is seeking MBA interns for NorthStar Clean Energy in Jackson, MI, focusing on clean energy and carbon management. The internship offers hands-on experience in data management, business planning, and renewable energy projects. Ideal candidates are current MBA students with a minimum GPA of 3.0. This position is geared towards skill development and networking opportunities, with applications accepted through January 2025.

What you will do:

Current MBA graduate student will work as part of a larger team to provide hands-on support and design/development for various real-world aspects of our business. This could include work on our Onsite Team! In addition to working alongside full-time employees carrying out various functions for NorthStar Clean Energy, Business Interns will have the option to participate in several additional optional events within the program. This includes networking events, company tours, professional development workshops, cross-functional speaker sessions, and an executive speaker series.

Business Intern assignments may include opportunities in:
• Data management
• Supporting the Retail Open Access enrollment, tracking, and report building
• Business Planning, project development, financial analysis, and project economics
• Supporting Renewable Energy project transactions and technical due diligence

Actively enrolled and pursuing an ABET-accredited Masters's degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or Marketing. The following MUST be true to be eligible for an Intern role.
• Minimum GPA requirement of 3.0 or higher.
• Candidates for positions with NorthStar Clean Energy must be legally authorized to permanently work in the United States. Verification of employment eligibility will be required at the time of hire. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
