Ensero Solutions is hiring an Intermediate Environmental Field Technician in Whitehorse, YT. The role involves environmental data collection, field sampling, data management, and office tasks for various projects in the Yukon. Candidates should have a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent and 3-5 years of experience. The position requires strong organizational skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office. This is a full-time, permanent role that may involve site travel.

Intermediate Environmental Field Technician

Whitehorse, YT

Full-Time Permanent

As an Environmental Technician II, you will be responsible for environmental data collection at various projects around the Yukon. This data collection will include field sampling, data entry, data management, equipment maintenance and related office tasks.

Key Responsibilities
• Conduct fieldwork, environmental sampling, and site assessments at various project locations
• Researching and compiling environmental data from public registries, government offices, and/or library or internet services.
• Environmental sampling and preparation of shipments to labs.
• Manipulation of digital environmental data and analysis reports.
• Analyzes and interprets environmental data.
• Preparing and formatting reports.
• Related office tasks, including filing and reception on as needed basis.
• Special projects as required.
• All other related duties as required.

About You
• Bachelor’s Degree, Technical Diploma or equivalent
• 3 - 5 years of previous experience working.
• Ability to work effectively with team members as well as independently
• Previous experience operating snowmobiles, ATVs or UTVs is considered an asset
• Strong organizational and time-management skills to handle multiple tasks and deadlines
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and other business software
• Ability to prioritize tasks effectively and work independently or as part of a team
• Strong verbal and written communication skills to interact with stakeholders

Working Conditions
• Ability to lift a minimum of 15 pounds
• Site travel may be required
• Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk or computer
