Integrations Architect

Wood County Hospital is seeking an Integrations Architect to oversee electronic health record (EHR) security, manage user access audits, and support clinical information systems. Responsibilities include development, troubleshooting, and maintaining EHR tools. Candidates should have five years of experience in information systems, preferably in healthcare. The Integration Architect acts as primary resource for the electronic health record (EHR) domain and ancillary tool security to include development of positions, roles preferences as well as coordination and completion of access audits to ensure user access to protected health information is limited to the minimum required to perform assigned duties.

MAJOR TASKS, DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Participate in development (database/application), training, troubleshooting, testing, and researching of clinical information systems.

2. Work collaboratively with end users of clinical information systems in both clinical and non-clinical areas as well as with all departments

3. Participate in domain management including package loads, system upgrades, downtime events, and domain refresh schedules.

4. Develops and maintains EHR Discern Rules.

5. Maintain and support custom EHR programming scripts.

6. Coordinates EHR operations job (ops job) build, scheduling and monitoring

7. Builds, monitors and troubleshoots EHR reporting and distribution tools

8. Builds, monitors and troubleshoots EHR Registration and Revenue Cycle Applications

EDUCATION, TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE

• Five (5) years’ experience in information systems environment, preferably healthcare

• Information Technology degree or equivalent experience.
