About the Role

The R&D Team at SharkNinja is seeking a highly skilled Senior Sustainability Mechanical Engineer to join our global team.

This role requires an experienced hands-on engineer who has a deep understanding of energy efficiency and sustainable material technologies, with a natural curiosity and creativity on how to leverage them in new ways.

You will actively support the development of sustainable consumer products by identifying lower impact opportunities and using hands-on design skills, testing and problem solving to demonstrate the feasibility of your solutions.
• Investigate and identify both commercially available and next generation technologies to greatly improve the energy efficiency and reduce the carbon footprint of key products
• Collaborate with Engineering and Product Development teams daily to rapidly progress the understanding of systems, environmental performance levers, and tradeoffs
• Bring together team members from other disciplines to brainstorm, solve problems, build proof-of-concept prototypes, and test them thoroughly
• Work closely with and guide co-ops and interns
