Ingredient Procurement Associate Manager

OVERVIEW

In this role, you will manage all aspects of the strategic sourcing process for the dairy category within the Dairy Business Unit. You are responsible for partnering with your business stakeholders to drive sourcing strategies that deliver on Total Value, supply resiliency, and sustainability goals.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

Develop category strategy that creates a multi-year pipeline of value and delivers on business needs
Data-driven sourcing that incorporate market bias, supply resiliency, and end-to-end supply chain value
Represent category and sourcing priorities with cross-functional partners and the business unit
Develop negotiation, cost management and contracting strategies to achieve business goals
Supplier relationship management to maintain and grow key supplier partnerships
Comply with corporate and regulatory policies and accounting practices
Learn and leverage continuous improvement tools and processes

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor's degree
3-5 years of Sourcing or related experience
Business processes and systems experience
Experience leading and partnering with cross-functional teams to drive business results
Strong strategy development, influence, and execution

Strong executive communication and interpersonal effectiveness

Expertise in contract development and complex negotiations
Strong analytical and decision-making skills

PREFERRED QUALIFICAITONS

5+ years of Sourcing or related experience
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, or Economics
Commodity and/or ingredient buying experience
Experience in the CPG (Consumer-packaged goods) or dairy industry

Salary Range

The salary range for this position is $106800.00 - $160300.00 / Annually. At General Mills we strive for each employee's pay at any point in their career to reflect their experiences performance and skills for their current role.
