Akkodis is seeking a IT Project Manager for a contract job with a client in Normal, Illinois. You will be responsible for managing the planning, execution, and delivery of enterprise-wide infrastructure initiatives, collaborating closely with cross-functional teams, vendors, and general contractors—particularly during construction phases.

Salary Range: $53.73/hour to $73.00/hour. The salary may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Job responsibilities include:

· Leading the implementation and refreshes of network service solutions, such as multi-site connectivity, WiFi, DNS, DHCP, and data center technologies.

· Driving delivery of server, storage, and backup infrastructure projects, including Active Directory, OS upgrades, NAS, DR solutions, and more.

· Partnering with infrastructure SMEs, vendors, and business stakeholders to build and align project plans with business timelines and priorities.

· Monitoring risks, resolving issues, and maintaining alignment across internal and external teams to ensure successful project delivery.

· Communicating project status to stakeholders with clarity and consistency, while ensuring readiness for seamless transition to operations.

Desired Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree

· Strong cross-functional project management across both IT and non-IT teams.

· Deep technical understanding of enterprise infrastructure and structured cabling systems.

· Proactive, transparent communication style with both stakeholders and leadership.

· A leadership mindset with a customer-first approach, even during high-pressure project timelines.

· Practical knowledge of IT management frameworks and operational handoff processes.
