About the position:

We are seeking an experienced HVAC Engineer to join our team at Solvenow Inc. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and implementing industrial climate control systems, including heating, ventilating, and air conditioning (HVAC) systems.

Key Responsibilities:
• Developing and implementing HVAC design plans for industrial and chemical plants, as well as related office facilities.
• Performing heating and cooling load calculations, reviewing and applying recent applicable codes and standards (e.g., Mechanical, Fire, ASHRAE, NFPA).
• * LAYOUT AND SIZING OF PLUMBING SYSTEMS
• DESIGN SPECIFICATION OF FIRE PROTECTION SYSTEMS
• Oversight of HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection drawing production.
• Interface with other engineering disciplines and clients.
• Conduct field work by gathering information, making sketches, and verifying drawings.

Qualifications:
Education/Experience:
• Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering degree; Professional Engineer (PE) certification desirable.
• Minimum 5 years' experience in HVAC, with a minimum of 2 years in industrial HVAC.
• Familiarity with mechanical and fire codes, as well as NFPA and ASHRAE standards.
• AutoCAD, AutoCAD 3D, or Revit experience a plus.

Eligibility Requirements:
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without restriction.
• Authorizes background investigation, including verification of past employment, criminal history, and educational background.
• Submits to a drug test post-offer.
• Possesses a valid driver's license.
• Acknowledges that this position may require some domestic overnight travel.
