IAQ & HVAC Technician (Part Time)

Green Home Solutions is seeking a part-time IAQ & HVAC Technician in Sugar Land, TX. Responsibilities include completing indoor air quality jobs, mold remediation, and HVAC cleaning while following safety protocols. Candidates should have a TDLR HVAC License, basic construction knowledge, and the ability to lift 50 lbs. ABOUT THE POSITION:

Indoor air quality Technician will be responsible for completing indoor air quality related jobs while adhering to all proper safety protocols and company procedures. Green Home Solutions completes many different services to return properties to safe IAQ standards that include mold remediation, duct & HVAC cleaning, disinfection, crawl space encapsulation, air purification and dehumidifier installation and allergen control.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS and RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Following all direction by Green Home Solutions Management including daily communication with IAQ Inspectors to ensure job scope is understood and performed as presented to Customer
• Driving Company vehicle to job sites
• Properly using PPE on all job sites
• Following scope of work created by IAQ Inspector
• Keeping an immaculate work site area
• Setting up containment and property protection
• Setting up air scrubbers, dehumidifiers, fans and other remediation associated equipment
• Performing very detailed cleaning, vacuuming, demolition and other remediation related services to the highest standard
• Encapsulating crawlspaces
• Installing air purification units and dehumidifiers
• Collecting required documentation on all job site
• Utilizing CRM/Operations software
• Performing all Green Home Solutions offered services while maintaining IICRC, GHS, and other Industry standards.

REQUIREMENTS & QUALIFICATIONS:
• Basic knowledge of construction techniques, mitigation, HVAC, and mold would be an asset.
• TDLR HVAC License
• Ability to lift 50LBs
• Ability to utilize proper PPE (Respirator)
• Ability to work in tight spaces
• Driver's License
• Ability to follow directions
• Ability to learn and utilize proper remediation protocols
• The ideal candidate would exhibit strong critical thinking skills, capable of applying learned procedures and methods from training and apply to dynamic on-site conditions, as well as possess a professional presence and positive attitude in all workplace situations

Compensation: $18.00 - $25.00 per hour
