Evalueserve is seeking an IA- Consultant for Power/Renewable Energy Research in Haryana, India. Important responsibilities in this role will include:
• Undertake power market assessments at a country and regional level. Initial focus on European markets.
• Responsible for tracking power purchase agreements (PPA's); pricing and transactions (between generators and corporates/traders/utilities) for all renewable technologies, and later for thermal
• Monitor subsidy pricing levels in different markets
• Undertake competitor evaluations to assess the impact on the company's position and strategy
• Assess demand side response by identifying key target customers within power markets and developing strong insights to assist in developing power offtake strategies
• Identifying and describing risks and risk mitigation for projects and markets
• Understand and monitor power market rules and regulatory framework in chosen markets
• Create relevant tools in which to capture power market overviews
• Must be able to think through various business issues and develop a point of view to advise/support client.

What you’ll need to have:
• The right candidate should have worked for 7 to 9 years with a reputed firm in Energy, Renewables, Power, Utilities. Or a seasoned research professional with exposure to the Power Industry through past roles.
• Master or MBA in a relevant field (Power, Renewables etc.). Graduating with a relevant Technology degree will be an added advantage.
• Strong analytical skills, experience of advanced excel/ VBA, PowerBI or equivalent for Data Analytics
• Ability to understand the client's business environment, language, processes, etc.
• Ability to work independently and deliver in a timely manner
• Excellent interpersonal skills to work with a wide range of external and internal stakeholders.
• Proactive and problem-solving mindset
• Comfortable with MS Office tools, Proficient with Word, excel and presentation.
• Effective communicator with excellent relationship building & interpersonal skills.
• Possess a flexible & detail-oriented attitude and ability to appreciate ambiguities.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
