Responsibilities
• Conduct technical review of lakes, wetlands, and watercourses to identify needed corrections to the Public Waters Inventory (PWI).

• Participate and support public participation in the Public Waters Inventory (PWI) Update process.

• Finalize updates to the Public Waters Inventory (PWI).

• Conduct regional public waters regulatory and management responsibilities and tasks as assigned.

Requirements
• Bachelor of Science degree in a relevant field such as Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Hydrology, or related major.

• Fundamental knowledge of hydrology, geology, hydraulics, and natural resource management.

• Experience with geographic information system (GIS) software analysis and display.

• Knowledge of laws, rules, and policies guiding water management programs.

• Ability to establish effective working relationships and provide training to government officials and the public.

• Ability to evaluate technical reports and provide critical reviews.
