Farnsworth Group is seeking a Hydrologist in one of the below posting locations. In this role you will focus on water supply development, contamination modeling and work on environmental platform projects.

Posting Locations for this role: Bloomington, Champaign, Peoria, or Pontiac, IL

Job Activities
• Perform technical engineering design and development of projects related to drinking water supply, treatment, storage, and distribution.
• Prepare comprehensive design plans, specifications, and bid documents for various water system construction projects, encompassing water wells, treatment plants, storage facilities, booster stations, and other distribution infrastructure.
• Develop detailed technical reports pertaining to drinking water for submission to local, state, and federal regulatory agencies.
• Establish, implement, and continuously enhance discipline-specific standard work procedures, training programs, and quality assurance/quality control (QA/QC) systems.

Specific Requirements Include
• Bachelor’s Degree in Hydrology, Geology, or Civil/Environmental Engineering from an accredited program. Other degrees will be considered.
• 5 – 10 years of hands-on experience in municipal drinking water engineering
• Engineer in Training (EIT) certification and Professional Engineer License, a plus
• Experience in relevant software for water system modeling.

Salary Range: $80,000 – $100,000 (Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, as well as internal and external equity)
