Job Description
The HRBP will serve as a strategic partner, providing HR support across the Manufacturing, EPC, Solar, and Automobile divisions. This role is designed to ensure that HR initiatives align with business objectives and drive organizational effectiveness, employee engagement, and talent management in these diverse sectors. The HRBP will work closely with senior leadership and line managers to implement HR strategies that enhance business performance, improve employee experience, and ensure compliance with industry-specific regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic HR Alignment:
Collaborate with senior leadership to develop and execute HR strategies aligned with the company's business goals, focusing on Manufacturing, EPC, Solar, and Automobile industry-specific needs.
Advise and support line managers on people management strategies, including workforce planning, organizational design, and performance management.
Drive HR initiatives that enhance employee productivity, retention, and business performance.
Talent Management & Workforce Planning:
Lead recruitment efforts, ensuring the company attracts top talent across Manufacturing, EPC, Solar, and Automobile industries, with a focus on skilled and technical workers.
Develop and implement effective talent acquisition strategies that meet business needs, including a focus on technical roles and field-based positions.
Work with department heads to forecast workforce needs and assist with the recruitment, onboarding, and integration of new employees.
Oversee employee development and succession planning, ensuring a talent pipeline for key roles, particularly in leadership, technical, and operational positions.
Labor Relations & Employee Engagement:
Handle labor relations in unionized or non-unionized environments, particularly in manufacturing plants, EPC sites, and solar project teams.
Resolve workplace issues and disputes, collaborating with employees, unions, and management to ensure positive and productive relationships.
Promote employee well-being, engagement, and retention strategies, especially in high-turnover environments like manufacturing and construction.
Performance Management & Productivity:
Support managers in the performance appraisal process, providing tools for effective performance management and coaching.
Drive initiatives to improve operational efficiency and productivity, focusing on labor management, absenteeism, and incentive programs tailored to industry needs.
Implement KPIs and metrics to track employee performance and organizational success across different sectors.
Change Management & Organizational Development:
Lead HR initiatives during organizational changes, such as restructures, mergers, acquisitions, or business expansion (especially relevant for EPC, Solar, and Automobile projects).
Support leadership in managing change, fostering employee acceptance, and aligning teams with new business strategies, technological advancements, or industry shifts.
Design programs to support the integration of new technologies, processes, and systems in manufacturing, construction, and automotive environments.
HR Analytics & Reporting:
Utilize HR data and analytics to assess employee trends, turnover rates, and overall business impact, providing regular reports to senior leadership.
Implement tools to track and measure HR performance, ensuring that HR interventions positively impact business outcomes, including productivity, safety, and retention.
Qualifications
Education: Bachelor's degree in human resources, Business Administration, or related field (Master's or HR certifications preferred).
Experience:
-5+ years of HR experience, with a strong background in Manufacturing, EPC, Solar, or Automobile industries.
-Proven experience as an HRBP or similar role with a strong track record of influencing senior leadership and driving business results.
-Solid understanding of labor laws, health and safety regulations, and HR compliance requirements specific to these industries.
-Experience in managing labor relations and unionized workforces, particularly in manufacturing or construction environments.
Skills:
Strong business acumen and understanding of operational challenges in manufacturing, EPC, solar, and automotive sectors.
Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.
Data-driven approach to decision-making and familiarity with HR analytics tools.
Strong knowledge of performance management, talent management, and employee engagement strategies.
Ability to manage and lead change, with experience supporting organizational transformations in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Skills:
Industry-Specific Knowledge: Familiarity with renewable energy (solar), manufacturing processes, automotive assembly, and construction operations.
