Job Description
Give Me Trees Trust is seeking an HR-Admin Officer to manage talent acquisition, onboarding, offboarding, payroll, performance management, employee relations, and office management. The role involves leading recruitment processes, conducting training, and ensuring compliance with HR policies. The position is remote, allowing the candidate to work from anywhere in India, supporting a community-driven tree planting initiative.

Give Me Trees Trust is one of the largest community based voluntary tree planting and conservation movements in India, having facilitated the plantation and preservation of more than 23 million trees all over the country in the last 45 years, with more than 17,000+ volunteers working all across India, seeks dynamic and motivated professional with relevant experience
Duties & Responsibilities:
Position: HR Admin Officer
Talent Acquisition
· Work closely with teams/consultant to understand staffing needs and ensure timely and effective recruitment.
· Lead the end-to-end recruitment and selection process, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and onboarding top talent.
· Create job descriptions, competency frameworks, and career paths for front Sales roles to aid talent acquisition and retention
Onboarding and Induction
· Oversee seamless onboarding processes for new hires, ensuring a smooth transition into the organisation. Duties will include;
· Preparing and issuing offer letters for new hires, along with running new hire checks
· Delivering a module of induction process for new hires.
· Conducting new hire benefits orientation to build a strong foundation for new employees and increase employee engagement.
Off boarding and other staff changes
· Manage off-boarding procedures with sensitivity and thoroughness and exit interview process.
· Responsible for preparing relieving letters etc.
Payroll/ benefits administration
· Manage attendance/leave and prepare data to be shared with the finance department for the salary process.
· To be responsible for T& E and other vendor payment processing
· To approve payments/reimbursement to vendors/bills
Performance Management
· To design and roll out a comprehensive process for annual appraisal and its smooth accomplishment in coordination with the management
· Collaborate with department heads to identify training needs and develop relevant programs.
· Design and execute training plans for employees to enhance skills and performance.
· Facilitate performance management processes, including goal setting, reviews, and career development.
· Work with managers to monitor employee progress and address performance issues.
· Ensure adherence to all HR-related legal and regulatory requirements.
· Regularly update policies and procedures to align with evolving compliance standards.
· Provide advice, information and support to Business manager, line managers and employees on HR policies and procedures in line with best practice.
Employee relations
· Conduct regular 1:1 session to understand employee concerns, feedback, and career aspirations.
· Address employee relations issues, including conflict resolution, disciplinary actions, and grievances, in alignment with company policies and legal requirements.
· Ensure fair and consistent application of HR policies and procedures.
· Promote within the organization about the company’s policies and procedures and create an efficient and conflict-free workplace.
Office management
· Coordinate office supplies, equipment procurement and assist with vendor payments
· Record keeping of asset and allotting assets to and from starter/ leavers
· Responsible for budget tracking and expense reporting for office spend
· Monitor and report maintenance issues to the appropriate parties
· Maintain office security protocols and access controls
· Coordinate with IT support partner for any technical issues at the office/ for staff when working from home
· Lead on planning and coordinating any team events
· Responsible for the entire Employee Life Cycle Onboarding to Exit

· Manage Office Admin Related Work.
· Attend Visitors.
· Support Administration of HR Policies, process and procedures and assist HR team in delivery of overall responsibilities.
· Background Checks of Internal Transfers/GMS/exits/Movements
· Play an operational role in ensuring consistency of HR actions across the organization by initiating, coordinating, and enforcing HR policies and procedures
· Contributing and being a part of Learning and Development: Assessed training needs and developed recommendations for team
· Actively work towards creating and maintaining a positive relationship between the HR Department and all other areas of business
· Manage and coordinate the process of workforce planning and recruitment with department managers to ensure the right resources
· Compile and update employee records (hard and soft copies)
· Issuing & maintaining letters like Offer, Appointment Letter, Appraisal, Relieving and Experience Letter.
· Deal with employee requests regarding letters, HR issues, rules and regulations
· Proactively monitor personnel or situations
· Initiate and implement innovative team building and collaborative initiatives that helped improve the Organisational Development Index
· Initiating the exit process and conducting relieving formalities
· Maintain training records, ascertain training needs and facilitate further employee training.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
