Job Description

CLEAResult is seeking a Home Energy Rating Specialist in Oklahoma City, OK, to represent residential energy efficiency programs. The role involves reviewing construction plans, conducting field inspections, and providing technical support. Candidates should have RESNET certification and experience in energy efficiency. The position requires physical activity and is not remote, as it involves on-site work with customers throughout the construction process.

Job Description

We are looking for a talented individual…

To join our team as a Home Energy Rating Specialist! You will act as a local on-site program and company representative for residential energy efficiency programs. The Energy Rating Specialist will identify and enroll new customers and projects, work with project teams from initial project planning through final construction, and perform field inspections through various stages of the residential construction process. An Energy Rating Specialist provides technical support, comprehensive analysis, and training in accordance with code and program requirements.

You’re a great fit if you can…
• Review construction blueprints and plans.
• Generate energy modeling using REM-Rate/EKOTROPE software.
• Visit sites during construction.
• Perform diagnostic testing, including thermal inspections, the use of blower door, duct blaster, and combustion safety equipment
• Collect and produce documentation related to each project's progress, status, and outcome, and prepare and submit required documents to verify code compliance and program eligibility.
• Successfully communicate technical concepts to subcontractors, developers, and homeowners in support of energy efficiency specifications.
• Initiate outreach to potential customers to ensure program enrollment goals are met.
• Work with project teams to establish goals and identify available resources for each project.
• Support projects from initial modeling to final construction and assist project teams with meeting their goals (energy savings, code compliance)
• Participate in ongoing training and education provided by CLEAResult to build a solid technical knowledge of diagnostics testing and the latest industry developments.

Exciting candidates have…
• RESNET Certified Energy Rater required
• Energy Star Certification
• A combination of training, education, and work experience in a related field.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
• Strong interpersonal, writing, verbal communication, and reporting skills

Physical Nature of the Job
• Bending, crouching, kneeling frequently
• Sit, stand, or walk for extended periods of time
• Use repetitive hand motion
• Lift, carry, or push up to 50 pounds
• Use power tools

Type of Work
• This is not a work-from-home position; you will be in the field servicing customers

Driving
• Are at least 21 years of age
• Valid driver's license in the state you are seeking employment in, with a driving record that meets CLEAResult’s minimum safety standard

Compensation Range

$55,700.00 - $83,500.00

Any offered salary is determined based on internal equity, internal salary ranges, market data/ranges, applicant’s skills and prior relevant experience, certain degrees and certifications (e.g. JD/technology), for example.
