Job Description

The Director of Policy and Business Development, New York will work collaboratively with our development and policy teams to increase the value of our existing pipeline and generate new business opportunities in state level solar and energy storage sectors.
• Lead and prepare market analyses to implement business development strategies that add meaningfully to New Leaf's existing solar and storage businesses in New York.
• Shaping and pre-empting changes in state legislative and regulatory proceedings, utility filings, and market structures and translating those changes into opportunities for our solar and energy storage businesses.
• Work collaboratively with New Leaf's development, finance and policy teams and our allies to improve state market structures for renewable energy and storage projects.
