Delaware Department of Natural Resources and Environmental Control is seeking a Fort Delaware Historical Park Interpreter to join their team in Delaware City, DE. The role involves assisting with program development and conducting interpretive programs to increase public awareness of the historical significance of Fort Delaware State Park.As a Fort Delaware Historical Park Interpreter, you will interpret the history of Fort Delaware State Park and/or the Port Penn Interpretive Center to the visiting public. You will lead school and public historical programs, develop and maintain exhibits, provide customer service, and conduct interpretive walks, programs, and tours. The role requires working indoors and outdoors, performing custodial services, and supporting park programs and special events. You must be willing to work in period costume and demonstrate responsibility, dependability, and good communication skills.
