Job Description

Natural Hazards Research Australia is seeking Expressions of Interest for a project on ecological fire group return sampling in Melbourne, VIC. The research focuses on the impact of bushfire and planned burning on ecosystem resilience. Interested teams must submit a project proposal and budget by 5:00pm AEST, 13 June 2025. Successful applicants will be notified by the end of July. This is a full-time position.
This research aims to build our understanding of the effects of both bushfire and planned burning on ecosystem resilience in the Heathland Sands (general) ecological fire group (EFG).

This project is currently open for Expressions of Interest.

Research teams responding to this EOI are required to submit a project proposal (4-6 pages) clearly addressing the requirements of the specifications set out in the EOI and a project budget including details of any in kind contribution from the research organisation.

EOI proposals are due by 5:00pm AEST, 13 June 2025 to research@naturalhazards.com.au. Successful applicants will be notified by end of July.
