What You Will Do
• Advise and assist managers across the company to ensure compliance with all safety, health, and environmental (SHE) policies and procedures.
• Conduct regular occupational health, safety, and fire prevention surveys to meet legislative requirements.
• Carry out surveillance audits in manufacturing areas to identify risks and implement improvements.
• Coordinate and deliver health and safety induction training for new employees while maintaining accurate training records.
• Lead Tool Box Talks and training sessions to promote safety awareness and best practices.
• Monitor and report on SHE trends, issues, and risks, ensuring alignment with company goals and targets.
• Support the company in maintaining and achieving accreditations and awards by implementing client-led initiatives and recommendations from audits.
What You Will Bring
• A formal qualification in Health & Safety or Environmental management.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels.
• Proficiency in IT tools such as Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
• Organisational skills and the ability to work independently, setting and meeting targets proactively.
• Previous experience in a similar role, ideally with at least two years of relevant experience.
• Internal Auditor experience is highly desirable.
