Job Description

We are looking to hire Health, Safety & Environment Senior Manager for the P&G Alexandria Louisiana Manufacturing plant. This role will provide technical and programmatic support across all organizations located at the P&G Alexandria Plant to ensure the ongoing effectiveness and day to day implementation of the HS&E Key Elements.

As the Health, Safety, and Environmental Leader you will:
• Provide strong technical safety support to the P&G Alexandria Plant.
• Health, Safety & Environment inputs to the projects overall risk assessment and site change management.
• Own the site HS&E Program and Pillar leader.
• Coordinate local implementation of site-wide HSE policies.
• Train, coach and develop department safety leaders.
• Collect and analyze daily management measures to ensure ongoing capability of the site HS&E program.
• Lead Safety Incidents Investigation and partner with the supply chains for root cause analysis and action planning.
• Ensure day-to-day OSHA compliance and reporting.

Job Qualifications

Required
• Bachelor Degree.
• Health, Safety & Environment 4-6 years work experience.
• Experience working with chemicals and equipment, preferably in a manufacturing Plant.
• Active involvement in a site or organization HS&E Key element program…e.g. being responsible for an overall Key Element Program or a specific Key Element or HS&E competency area. Experience/Training in Industrial Hygiene Practices, such as qualitative and/or quantitative exposure assessments. Qualified as site IH&S Leader.
• Strong ability to analyze and interpret data.
• Have a track record of establishing positive and productive relationships with a diverse range of customers. This role will require forming constructive relationships and collaborations with various organizational levels and functions within the site and across the city.
• Leadership ability to lead Department Safety Leaders.
• Willingness and ability to train and coach individuals on technical aspects of workplace safety.
• Experience in managing information in a database and solid computer skills with standard office software.

Pay Range: $105,000 - $140,000
