Responsible for roles that will typically be aligned to specific businesses or sectors. Individuals will generally either be located at, and only support, a specific site or project (including construction), or have a role that requires specific industry/business expertise or interaction with specific business customers. This category will include those EHS professionals involved in HSE performance and compliance..

As a Health, Safety, and Environment , you will be responsible for:

·Support the Operation Team with ensuring the full implementation and consistent execution of the Baker Hughes (EHS) programs and ensure compliance all applicable regulations.

·Work closely with manufacturing, facilities, and other teams to provide EHS support, mentoring, and engagement.

·Coordinate the closure of all findings and observations from audits and inspections.

·Participate on accident investigation.

·Conduct internal EHS inspections (i.e., hazardous waste areas, housekeeping, emergency response equipment, etc.)

·Provide general administrative and record-keeping support for all related regulatory records.

·Maintain EHS equipment and associated documentation requirements (e.g. Training records, injury logs, waste manifests, etc.)

·Ensure data accuracy and on time tracking and submission of HSE metrics and reports

To be successful in this role you will:

·Have a Master Industrial Safety and Engineering from an accredited university OR Bachelor degree with NEBOSH certification

·Have minimum 4 years of experience in Environmental Health & Safety.
• Have a Manufacturing, Oil & Gas background
• Have an exposure in ISO standards
• Have an experience in working on Legal requirements

·Have a technical knowledge and understanding of EHS-related laws and regulations.

·Have an excellent oral and written communication skills (including Tamil (local language))

·Have an ability to influence others and lead small teams.

·Lead initiatives of moderate scope and impact.

·Have an ability to coordinate several projects simultaneously.

·Have an effective problem identification and solution skills.
