Health and Safety Project Manager

Transgrid is seeking a Health and Safety Project Manager in Sydney, responsible for managing health and safety improvement projects within Major Projects. The role requires project management skills and expertise in health and safety practices, collaborating with cross-functional teams. The Opportunity

As the Health and Safety (H&S) Project Manager you will be responsible for managing diverse health and safety improvement projects, initiatives and systems development efforts within Transgrid's Major Projects. This role requires a combination of project management skills and specialised knowledge in health and safety practices including an initiative-taking approach to ensuring that health and safety improvement projects are scoped, developed and delivered. As H&S Project Manager you will work closely with cross-functional and project teams, including operations, human resources and external partners, to ensure the successful implementation of H&S improvement projects.

About

About You
• Demonstrated experience in working closely with the HSE Directors, HSE Managers, Project Directors and other stakeholders to integrate health and safety considerations into all aspects of Major Projects.
• Solid experience in overseeing the development and implementation of Major Projects health and safety management systems, to align with the Corporate and Project Management Frameworks.
• Demonstrated project management skills with the ability to manage multiple improvement projects simultaneously.
• Demonstrated experience and knowledge of H&S related improvement projects.
• Tertiary qualifications at technical degree level and minimum post graduate diploma in Occupational Health and Safety
• Project management certification
