Head of Sales

AD Energy Recruitment is seeking a Head of Sales for a prominent Solar PV manufacturer in France. The role involves developing business relationships with wholesalers and EPCs, executing sales strategies, and leading a sales team. Candidates should have at least 7 years of experience in the Solar PV market, strong sales records, and fluency in French and English. The position is primarily home-office based, offering a competitive salary and benefits.
On behalf of a world-famous and premuim Solar PV manufacturer, AD Energy is in search of a Sales Director - France. My client are a household name in the Solar systems market, and continue to grow at a very fast pace.
The France region continue to be a huge market in 2025 and beyond, and with a growing team already, this is an exciting growth phase for the business hence we require a dynamic and commercially- minded professional to help boost and grow the market share they already have.
The Sales Director will be tasked to establish, develop, and maintain prosperous business relations with medium and large wholesalers and EPCs/Developers, as well as Utilities, not only in France, but across the French speaking regions too. This is focussed on growth and obtaining market share.
This position will be a permanent France employment opportunity and will be based mainly in a home-office. On offer is a competitive salary, strong bonus, company car, working tools, health care, and pension.
Your Duties:
Facilitate in executing the regional sale business plan in France and wider areaStaying close to market activities and trends to evaluate sales strategy in FranceKeep abreast of solar market, suggest and pursue sale opportunities in regionContinually establish and develop business relationships with medium and large wholesalers and EPCsCarry out and coordinate pre-sales activities, and win large, Mutli MW deals for equipment supplyCreate sales and technical quotations for clientsForge business relationships with new clients and negotiate and close termsLead, develop and expand a team of top class sales professionalsActively extend your personal and professional solar pv network with relevant partners in the solar and pv market: funders, consultants, and developersPossess a complete knowledge of the solutions and be a brand advocate
Your Skills and Experience:
Hold a technical disciplined degree: Energy, Power, Electronics, Engineering alikePossess a minimum of 7 years technical sales and commercial leadership experience with the France Solar PV marketMust be able to demonstrate a good track record of sales target achievement, understanding of how to grow market shareA strong knowledge of the solar and photovoltaic technology arrayDirect experience in sales management with distributors and installersA strong foundation network with EPCs, Developers and fundersA great technical aptitude, ability to process technical information and present or explain to clientsMust have fluent language ability in French and English,Must be flexible, wiling to travel across the CountryShow an engaging and charismatic characterAbility to close deals and business negotiationsHave a business forward and hunter type natureMost be highly motivated and an independent workAble to work in a rapid, high-pressure, and international environmentMust have exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
