The Company

A leading investor, developer and IPP of utility-scale renewable energy projects. Further expansion within a number of markets on a global basis has created the opportunity for a Head of Origination – Renewable PPA to lead the origination, development, and investment of a pipeline of utility scale Onshore/Offshore Wind, Solar, and Storage.

The Role

The primary focus of the role will be the European market. However, you will be actively supporting other international markets. Your main responsibilities will be:
• Leading Origination and Route to Market activities in pursuit of multi GW pipeline of Utility-scale solar & storage projects.
• Lead & manage relationships with financial investors (investment funds, pension funds, IPPs, insurance companies)
• Assess & optimise route to market alternatives for projects across all European markets
• Participation in routes to markets for projects via government auctions & corporate PPAs
• Develop business cases, modelling & analysis of potential new markets, and preparation of entry strategies
• Providing commercial support to leadership and project development teams

The Person

The successful candidate will likely have:
• Bachelors Degree in Business, Economics, Finance, Law or Engineering,
• 4+ years origination experience in Renewable energy specialising in Utility-Scale renewables plants
• Experience leading PPA negotiations with Corporates.
• A strong commercial knowledge, PPA contractual negotiations, and project economics.
• Be able to solve complex problems, Engage, Lead, motivate and inspire teams to success
• Speak English
