Head of Hydro – Engineering

Statkraft is seeking a Head of Hydro - Engineering in New Delhi, India. The role involves overseeing hydro power project engineering from concept to commissioning, requiring expertise in design, engineering issues, and compliance with statutory bodies. Candidates should possess an M.E/M.Tech or B.E/B.Tech with extensive experience in hydro power engineering. Strong analytical skills and knowledge of civil engineering concepts are essential. This is a full-time position.
As a Head of Hydro - Engineering, you’ll report to Director-Technical and following tasks would be a part of your job profile:

Overall responsible for Hydro Power project Engineering and development from concept to commissioning.
Should have experience of PFR, DPR, Detail design, handling of Engineering issues related to Construction
Should have full idea of Topographical Survey, Geotechnical Investigations, DPR preparation and clearance from CEA/CEA and other Statutory bodies.
Sound knowledge of related IS codes and international codes for Hydro power related to Civil component design
Preparing technical specifications for Civil work & HM works of hydro power, interaction with bidder / Contractor, Preparation of BOM, Costing.
Infrastructure planning of hydro project, due diligence of Hydro project, risk identification and mitigation etc.

Qualification And Experience:-
We look for experienced personnel with the essential skills that includes:-

Candidates should be M.E/ M Tech with Hydraulic/ Geotechnical/ Structural from reputed institute with minimum 15 years of relevant experience in Hydro power Engineering or BE/ B.Tech. with more than minimum 20 years of total experience in the required field.
Strong analytical and communication skills.
Expertise in design related issues
Familiar with static and dynamic behaviours of structures.
Awareness of relevant I.S & International codes
Having sound knowledge of General Civil Engineering Concepts
