Rise Technical is seeking a Head of Energy Storage Systems in the Amsterdam area, offering a salary of €100,000 - €140,000 plus benefits. The role involves overseeing the design and implementation of energy storage technologies and requires strong experience in the field. You will be responsible for driving the development, deployment and strategy, of cutting-edge energy storage solutions. You will need relevant experience in Energy Storage Systems and you will be looking for a challenging but rewarding role.

The Role:
• Oversee the design, creation, and implementation of ESS technologies like battery storage and grid connections.
• Ensure technical and commercial feasibility studies for new projects and ensure successful implementation whilst working with R&D, Engineering and other departments.
• Build strong relationships with stakeholders and ensure adherence to industry standards and regulations.
• Split between office based work (70% in office) and then travelling out on site (30%) which can include occasional staying away (some months there will be no staying needed at all)

The person:
• Must have strong and relevant experience in energy storage solutions with renewable energy knowledge
• Must have a strong understanding of battery storage technologies, energy management systems and grid integration.
• Knowledge of power electronics, system modelling, and performance optimization.
