Job Description: Head of Capital Markets

Key Responsibilities
• Oversee and manage the Company’s capital markets activities: Develop and execute strategies and best practices to optimize the company’s capital structure, manage financial risk, and minimize financing costs.
• Serve as the primary relationship manager for commercial and investment banks, ratings agencies, and other capital market constituents to support access to capital and thought leadership.
• Head strategy and execution across debt, equity, other financing, and foreign currency transactions.
• Develop and implement strategies to mitigate foreign exchange and interest rate risks, including the use of hedging instruments. Ensure effective and efficient trading execution.
• Monitor and analyze market conditions, interest rates, and other economic factors to inform financing and hedging decisions.
• Ensure compliance with regulations, external and internal reporting requirements, and other internal policies related to capital markets activities.
• Collaborate with the broader finance organization and other departments to align capital market activities with the Company’s objectives.
• Manage and develop junior members of the Capital Markets team
• Execute special projects and initiatives: Assist and support on key projects as directed needed on direction from the Treasurer or CFO.

Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree, preferably with an MBA or CFA
• 10+ Years experience in treasury and/or capital markets, with direct experience overseeing and executing currency and interest rate hedging programs.
• Capital Markets Strategy & Execution: Experience developing and managing relationships with external constituents (e.g. banks, credit rating agencies, investors). Expertise in managing capital structure, including debt issuance, share repurchases, and financial policy development to support shareholder value.
• Financial Analysis & Risk Assessment: Advanced analytical skills to evaluate market conditions, conduct scenario modeling, and assess risks to inform strategic capital decisions.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Ability to partner with internal teams (e.g., Investor Relations, FP&A, Accounting, Legal, Tax) and external stakeholders (e.g., banks, fund managers) to execute initiatives. Experience supporting mergers, acquisitions, and other strategic transactions with thoughtful analysis.
• Communication: Strong professional presence and ability to digest and communicate complex financial topics effectively
• Leadership & Team Development: Demonstrated experience leading teams.
• Have a results-driven mindset with the ability to quickly identify issues, solve problems, and drive desired outcomes.
