Principal People is seeking a Group Sustainability Coordinator in the UK to enhance sustainability strategies within a construction group. This family owned company is seeking a Group Sustainability Coordinator to enhance its sustainability strategy. They work on a diverse range of house building and civil engineering schemes. In this role you will support the sustainable development of Britain’s infrastructure and play your part in alleviating the housing crisis.

You’ll work closely with the Group Health, Safety & Environmental Director and key teams to develop initiatives, while also having the ability to work independently to drive progress and implement sustainability strategies. This role involves researching best practices, engaging with stakeholders and identifying ways to promote sustainability initiatives at group level.

The Role
• Group Sustainability Coordinator
• Support a group of business to achieve B Corp status
• Training, progression and development into Sustainability Lead
• Implement carbon reduction plans
• £35,000 - £40,000 + Training + Progression + Mileage Allowance + Bonus + Life Assurance + Private Medical + Pension
The Person
• A degree Environmental Science or equivalent
• 2 years’ experience in Sustainability
• Full UK driving license and access to own vehicle
• Confident, able to communicate with senior stakeholders
