Group Senior Manager - Sustainability Awareness and Engagement

DP World is seeking a Group Senior Manager for Sustainability Awareness and Engagement based in Sharjah, UAE. The role involves developing and implementing sustainability communications, creating content for various platforms, managing stakeholder engagement, and overseeing the sustainability section of the global website. Candidates should have a Bachelor’s degree and at least five years of experience in sustainability or communications.
Group Senior Manager - Sustainability Awareness and Engagement DP World

This individual is responsible for communication, awareness and engagement on sustainability to all stakeholders with a focus on internal engagement; keeping teams globally informed of our sustainability strategy and the actions that surround it. They will work closely with group communications to leverage the various platforms and creative avenues to create content.

Key Accountabilities

Communications
• Responsible for the development and implementation of the sustainability communications plan with KPIs.
• Responsible for the transmission and adoption of tools and guides developed by the sustainability department depending on stakeholder target taking investors, customers and employees into close consideration.
• Oversee the development of newsletters, best practice guides, monthly thought leadership content and blog articles.
• Oversee the sustainability connexions page and ensure it is frequently visited and continuously updated with new resources and toolkits. Ensure these updates are communicated to all internal stakeholders.
• Oversee and continuously improve content under the sustainability section on the global website and work with the regions on their websites to ensure consistency.
• Coordinate speaking opportunities and sustainability related bilateral engagements at high level events for senior executives, including necessary documentation.
• Provide briefing documents and feedback to agencies working on sustainability communications content.
• Manage the branding/design of all sustainability materials for example posters, fact sheets, videos, regional toolkits, global templates.
• Work with the brand team to develop, build and manage a database of sustainability images for use in publications.
• Create new ideas to enhance the understanding of sustainability across the company and externally worldwide.
• Develop articles and thought leadership for the various platforms.
• Support in developing a close-knit community of sustainability champions through thoughtful, regular, and informative updates.
• Oversee partnership communication plan.
• Be the main point of contact for the Sustainability Academy.

Qualifications, Experience and Skills
• Bachelor Degree in Business, Management or related degree.
• 5 years experience directly in sustainability or communications.
• Excellent inter-personal, verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience in Sustainability white paper.
• Additional language skills (e.g. either Arabic, French, Mandarin, Hindi or Urdu) an advantage, though not a prerequisite.
