Our Group’s over 3000 team members across the East Coast, consistently strive to make a difference in the communities we serve.About the roleAs the Group Health Safety and Environment Manager (HSE) – Markets and Corporate Functions, you will provide strategic support and ensure alignment of HSE approach to the Markets and Corporate Functions within the Group. You will work with the business to execute the Group H&S and E strategies and develop a culture defined by proactive leadership, accountability and a learning mindset.Your primary responsibility will be to ensure that the Group H&S and E strategies, system and approach to sustainable performance improvement is articulated and implemented across the operating profiles within your portfolio. Additionally, you will drive aligned behavioural expectations that uphold the highest standard of health and wellbeing, the preservation of human life and protection of the environment.About YouTo ensure you are set up for success in this pivotal role, you will bring significant senior HSE leadership experience within a large, complex and high-risk industrial organisation preferably within the utilities, services, infrastructure or similar industry, along with:Solid experience in HSE change management and execution of strategy into an operational businessImpressive experience in the implementation, monitoring and improvement of risk based HSE systems and assurance programsHighly developed ability to engage and influence a range of key stakeholders internally and externallySound knowledge of industrial legislation and applicationTertiary qualifications in Health & Safety, and/or Environment (preferred) or a related fieldOur people are our energy source and we offer meaningful benefits and rewards that work for you.
