Phillip Riley is seeking a Grid Integration Engineer for a solar and BESS developer in Melbourne or Brisbane, with potential remote work. The role involves supporting grid connections for solar and storage projects, collaborating with various teams, and navigating regulatory environments. Candidates should have at least 2 years of relevant experience and knowledge of grid connection processes. The position offers a competitive salary and benefits, including flexible working arrangements.
Phillip Riley is partnering with an exciting Solar & BESS developer who are looking to add a grid integration engineer to work across the end-to-end delivery of future utility scale projects. Since their inception in 2011, the business has been a valuable contributor to the global renewable energy transition, and they are now seeking to grow the Grid Connection team in Australia.

As a Grid integration Engineer, you will be pivotal in supporting the connection of a diverse portfolio of solar and integrated storage projects across Australia. You will collaborate closely with the Grid Connection Manager and work with various engineering, technical, and commercial teams. Despite the network becoming increasingly more difficult to connect to, you will face these challenges head-on, assessing risk, capacity and helping to guide the teams through the process.

Your expertise will contribute significantly to the growth strategy of the business, navigating the grid commercial and regulatory environment to ensure successful project operations.

Location: Brisbane or Melbourne (remote may be considered)

Salary: $150,000 - $170,000 + Super + Bonus + Range of other benefits

You will be under the guidance of a highly experienced contributor to the renewable energy market in Australia; someone who is an awesome connector to industry people and has worked across invertor design, R&D, project management, power systems, NSP/AEMO negotiations – he is a brilliant mentor to learn from.
