Our client, a leader in the renewable energy sector, is seeking a proactive and experienced Grid Connection Manager. This role offers a unique opportunity to manage grid connection processes for renewable energy projects, ensuring efficient integration into existing infrastructure.

As the Grid Connection Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the grid connection activities for renewable energy assets. You will collaborate closely with internal teams, external stakeholders, and regulatory bodies to ensure compliance with grid connection requirements and timelines.

Key Responsibilities:

Grid Connection Planning and Strategy:
• Develop and implement grid connection strategies for renewable energy projects.
• Coordinate feasibility studies, technical assessments, and impact analyses for grid integration.
• Identify optimal grid connection points and pathways to maximize project efficiency and cost-effectiveness.

Regulatory Compliance and Permitting:
• Navigate regulatory frameworks and manage permitting processes related to grid connection.
• Liaise with regulatory authorities and utilities to obtain necessary permits and approvals.
• Ensure compliance with grid code requirements, environmental regulations, and industry standards.

Stakeholder Engagement and Relationship Management:
• Build and maintain relationships with grid operators, utility companies, and government agencies.
• Negotiate grid connection agreements and service contracts, ensuring favorable terms for projects.
• Facilitate communication and collaboration between internal project teams and external stakeholders.

Project Coordination and Execution:
• Oversee project timelines, budgets, and resources related to grid connection activities.
• Monitor construction and commissioning phases to ensure seamless integration with grid infrastructure.
• Resolve technical issues and challenges related to grid connection, optimizing system performance and reliability.

Documentation and Reporting:
• Maintain comprehensive records of grid connection processes, permits, and agreements.
• Prepare progress reports, technical documentation, and compliance updates for management and regulatory bodies.
• Evaluate project outcomes and lessons learned, implementing improvements for future projects.

Qualifications and Experience:
• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Renewable Energy, or a related field. Advanced degree preferred.
• Proven experience in grid connection management, preferably within the renewable energy sector.
• In-depth knowledge of grid connection processes, regulations, and standards.
