Our engineers, scientists, technical and project employees serve our clients from offices across the world.

We are seeking a Greenhouse Gas Reduction Strategist to join our team of experienced professionals. The successful candidate will work closely with staff in other offices to provide strategic solutions to our clients' most complex problems.

The ideal candidate will have at least 8 years of professional and project management experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience. Experience performing LCA assessments and reporting, including knowledge of current tools and trends, is required. Prior experience in LCA and carbon footprinting, as well as extensive knowledge of Excel, PowerPoint, and high-level modeling tools, is highly desirable.

The selected candidate will be responsible for business development, project management, and technical lead for life cycle assessment and carbon quantification projects relating to incentive and regulatory programs. They will also serve as a subject matter expert on the development, implementation, and execution of life cycle assessment (LCA) strategies, approaches, models, and methodologies for regulatory applications, non-regulatory applications, and environmental product declarations (EPD).

Key Responsibilities include:
• Maintaining high visibility in the marketplace through regular client contact, participation in client-based professional organizations, and attendance and presentations at industry events.
• Acting as a senior technical consultant and strategist providing expertise and leadership in the form of project management, project technical consultant, regulatory subject matter expert, or senior QA/QC reviewer on climate change-related projects.
• Developing ISO 14040/44-compliant LCA models and study reports.
• Guiding LCAs through external third-party critical review process.
• Performing other technical analyses, including data collection, spreadsheet creation and calculations, and QA/QC.

Education and Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in environmental, mechanical or chemical engineering or a similar engineering discipline. An advanced degree in engineering, professional registration (P.E.), CARB-accredited LCFS lead verifier, and Life Cycle Assessment Certified Professional (LCACP) are preferred.
