Job Description
The Green Technology Ecosystem Director at Climate Salad in Perth WA will lead the GreenTech Hub, focusing on developing a strategic framework for green technology, fostering partnerships, and organizing events. Responsibilities include building a cross-functional team, designing innovation challenges, and supporting startups in scaling green solutions. The role requires collaboration with various stakeholders to promote green technologies and attract investment. This position is full-time and does not require a specific degree.
Curtin University is proud to be the operator of the GreenTech Hub, Western Australia's new multi-million-dollar initiative dedicated to accelerating green technologies and services across the state. As Green Technology Ecosystem Director, you will work closely with Curtin's world-class research teams, government departments, industry leaders, startups, and SMEs to develop cutting-edge solutions and scale up green innovations.
Responsibilities:
• Establish Strategic Framework: Develop and implement a robust strategic framework for the GreenTech Hub, focusing on driving green technology development across WA.
• Lead Cross-Functional Team: Build and lead a cross-functional team to deliver key initiatives and ensure the Hub's successful operation.
• Cultivate Partnerships: Foster and maintain strategic partnerships with industry sectors, government agencies, and other key stakeholders.
• Design Innovation Challenges: Co-design and execute innovation challenges that incentivise the adoption of green technologies to reduce emissions across various industries.
• Develop Capacity Building Programs: Develop and implement state-wide programs to support start-ups and green technology providers in scaling up and commercialising new solutions.
• Organise Events: Organise workshops, seminars, and networking events that promote collaboration and showcase green technology innovations.
• Collaborate with Educational Institutions: Collaborate with educational and training institutions to support the growth of skills in green technologies across WA.
• Attract Investment: Leverage GreenTech initiatives from the Commonwealth and industry to attract investment for research, development, and commercialisation of green technologies.
• Provide Advisory Support: Provide expert advisory support to industry stakeholders and government on green technology solutions and collaborative opportunities.
