GEI Consultants is seeking a Green Initiative Project Coordinator to lead environmental projects in Connecticut, New York, and Central Massachusetts. The role involves managing project activities, developing remediation strategies, and collaborating with clients and regulatory agencies. Position Description
We are seeking an environmental consultant leader to join our team at GEI Consultants. As a seasoned project manager, you will lead environmental projects throughout Connecticut, New York, and Central Massachusetts, collaborating with clients and regulatory agency representatives to develop investigation and remedial strategies for various types of sites and contaminants. You will also manage projects and direct the project activities of engineers and scientists, providing technical oversight of subcontractors and preparing and reviewing work plans and technical reports.

Responsibilities
- Manage projects and direct the project activities of engineers and scientists
- Develop investigation and remedial strategies for various types of sites and contaminants
- Collaborate in the design and installation of remediation solutions under CT DEEP regulations and LEP programs
- Lead environmental site assessments and remedial and pre-design investigations
- Provide technical oversight of subcontractors
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Engineering, Geology, or similar Science
- 15+ years of relevant professional experience in environmental consulting
- CT LEP License
- Seller/Doer mentality and experience
- Excellent communication skills and technical report writing skills
- Ability to travel on temporary assignments as needed
