Earth Day is hiring a Green Infrastructure Associate (Seasonal) in Milwaukee, WI, to assist with community outreach and the installation of green yard projects like rain gardens and barrels. The role requires no prior experience, just a willingness to work outdoors. The position is full-time during peak summer, starting in May 2025 and ending in November. Position: Green Infrastructure Associate (Seasonal) Clean
Do you enjoy working outside and building bridges within your community? Why not join a team of passionate people working to strengthen their communities? Clean Wisconsin is seeking a new Green Infrastructure Associate to support our team with installations of small-scale green yard projects in Milwaukee, like rain gardens and rain barrels. Green infrastructure is a way of managing rainfall to reduce the risk of flooding in our streets, yards, and basements.
No experience is necessary so long as you like to be outside and work hard!
The Green Infrastructure Associate is a seasonal position in Milwaukee starting in May 2025 and ending in November. During the peak summer season, at least 40 hours per week can be expected, while hours may fluctuate at other times. The Green Infrastructure Associate is responsible for coordinating and assisting with community outreach and installation of rain barrels and rain gardens, conducting workshops and engaging with community members.
This position reports to the Green Infrastructure Manager and provides general support to Clean Wisconsin’s resilient communities program as needed.
