Job BriefWe are seeking an Environmental Engineer to join our dynamic team in Washington, Indiana. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing and coordinating permitting, monitoring, testing, and reporting of air emissions, water discharges, and waste disposal at our corn wet milling facility. This position requires a strong understanding of environmental regulations and a passion for learning and growth.

Essential Duties
This position involves performing and coordinating permitting, monitoring, testing, and reporting of air emissions, water discharges, and waste disposal at our corn wet milling facility. Additional responsibilities include supporting the development and implementation of site environmental programs, maintaining and updating environmental documents, and collaborating with departments to ensure environmental compliance. Obtaining new/modified permits as needed and renewing existing permits as required by law is also a key aspect of this role.

Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need a Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Environmental Science, or equivalent experience. Additionally, you should have 1 or more years of experience in an environmentally oriented position and familiarity with environmental regulations. Computer skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint are also required. Experience in an industrial setting is preferred but not required.
