Green Building Consultant

Massachusetts Clean Energy is seeking a Green Building Consultant in Boston, MA. About the Role

The Green Building Consultant will work closely with the Decarbonization Team to provide technical services to building owners and developers, ensuring a seamless transition to a more sustainable future.
Main Responsibilities:
• Conducting comprehensive site assessments of mechanical, plumbing, and electrical systems and building enclosures;
• Developing detailed recommendations for energy-efficient upgrades to building envelopes, plumbing, HVAC, lighting, appliances, on-site power generation, and other energy and water systems;
• Collaborating with project managers and other technical staff to ensure successful project delivery;
• Preparing written audit reports and delivering summaries to clients in on-line meetings.
Requirements:
• A bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field;
• At least 5 years of experience in energy efficiency consulting work;
• Proven track record of successfully implementing energy-efficient solutions;
• Excellent communication and project management skills;
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and energy modeling software.
