Green Building Architect

Smarter Dharma is seeking a Green Building Architect in Bengaluru, Karnataka. The role involves sustainability consulting, creating building models, and conducting assessments for certifications like IGBC and LEED. Candidates should have a Master's degree, at least 4 years of experience in sustainability analysis, and proficiency in simulation tools. The position offers a hybrid work model, requiring collaboration with project teams and strong communication skills.
We are looking for a Green Building / Sustainable Design Architect to join our team of experts in green building design and construction. In this role, you will work closely with project teams to provide sustainability consulting and analysis for a wide range of building projects. Prior experience with Green Building certification is preferred.

Location: Hybrid work, based in Bengaluru.

Key Responsibilities:
• Creating building models and conducting simulations for energy, daylight, shadow and ventilation analysis using various tools.
• Conducting sustainability assessments including simulations and technical report preparation for certification works such as IGBC and LEED.
• Collaborate with the design team to integrate sustainable design strategies into building projects.

Qualifications:
• A Master's degree in relevant fields such as architecture, engineering, or construction.
• A minimum of 4 years of experience in sustainability analysis for buildings.
• Experience in simulation tools like Ecotect, eQuest, Revit, Rhino, Ladybug Tools, etc.
• Experience in IGBC, LEED, GRIHA or other green building certifications is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of building design and construction principles including sustainability best practices.
• Excellent communication and project management skills.
• Should be self motivated to work proactively, both independently and part of a team.
