The Foundation for Climate Action and Sustainable Development (F-CASD) is seeking a Grant & Partnership Coordinator in Lagos, Nigeria. The role involves identifying and managing funding opportunities, developing partnerships, ensuring compliance with donor requirements, and enhancing resource mobilization efforts. The Foundation for Climate Action and Sustainable Development (F-CASD) is a registered non-profit organization in Nigeria, dedicated to mitigating the impacts of climate change through innovative and multidisciplinary approaches. Leveraging expertise in advocacy, data science, geographic information systems, research, monitoring and evaluation, we strive to promote sustainable development and climate resilience. Our strategic objectives are centered on promoting sustainable innovations that integrate environmental, social, and economic dimensions, thereby fostering scalable and replicable sustainable development practices.


We also provide capacity-building programs and training initiatives to enhance the skills and knowledge of local stakeholders, policymakers, and researchers, enabling them to effectively address climate change and implement sustainable solutions.


We are recruiting to fill the position below: Job Title: Grant & Partnership Coordinator Location: Borno Brief Role Description The Grant and Partnership Coordinator will be responsible for identifying, securing, and managing funding opportunities while fostering strategic partnerships to advance F‑CASD’s mission of climate action and sustainable development. This role ensures compliance with donor requirements, strengthens collaboration with stakeholders, and enhances the organization’s visibility and resource mobilization efforts. The position requires strong grant writing skills, partnership development expertise, and the ability to coordinate across diverse stakeholders effectively.


Responsibilities Develop and implement grant acquisition and partnership strategies aligned with F‑CASD’s objectives. Identify funding opportunities from donors, foundations, and international organizations. Lead the preparation of high‑quality grant proposals, concept notes, and donor reports.


Ensure compliance with donor guidelines, contractual obligations, and reporting requirements. Establish and maintain strategic partnerships with government agencies, NGOs, private sector actors, and international partners. Coordinate with program teams to align proposals with project priorities and community needs.


Maintain a database of donors, partners, and funding opportunities. Support resource mobilization efforts through advocacy, networking, and stakeholder engagement. Monitor grant performance and partnership outcomes, providing regular updates to management.


Represent F‑CASD in donor meetings, partnership forums, and collaborative platforms.


Qualifications and Requirements Bachelor’s Degree in International Development, Social Sciences, Business Administration, or related field; Master’s degree preferred. 5 years of experience in grant writing, fundraising, and partnership management, preferably within NGOs or development organizations. Proven track record of securing grants and building strategic partnerships. Strong knowledge of donor compliance frameworks and reporting standards.


Excellent organizational, communication, and negotiation skills. Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively. Proficiency in grant management tools, databases, and Microsoft Office Suite.


Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.


Required Skills: Strong grant writing and proposal development abilities. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Knowledge of donor regulations and compliance frameworks. Partnership development and stakeholder engagement expertise. Proficiency in fundraising and grant management tools. Proven track record in resource mobilization and donor relations.
