Consolidated Power Projects is hiring a Graduate Project Engineer in Renewable Energy for a permanent, full-time position based in Doncaster, Melbourne. The role is part of a two-year graduate program starting in February 2026, focusing on high-voltage infrastructure and renewable energy projects. Responsibilities include supporting project management and collaborating with design and field teams. Candidates should have a Bachelor’s in Electrical Engineering or be in their final year.

Engineer Your Career.
At CPP, our Project Engineers make sure HV and renewable energy projects run smoothly. They support the project from start to finish and act as a bridge between the design engineering team (who plan the project) and the field team (who build it).
The Charles Wright Graduate Program will provide you with the opportunity to gain experience across Project Engineering, Engineering Design (primary, secondary, SCADA), Testing & Commissioning and Site Construction. Rotating across each of these disciplines, you will have the opportunity to build a broad understanding of engineering project management, technical engineering, testing/commissioning, whilst preparing you for opportunities for advancement at CPP.
The duration of the program is 2 years where you will work on projects under the supervision of some of the most experienced Electrical Engineers in the industry, gaining hands-on exposure on major HV construction projects across Australia including HV substations, Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) and Windfarms.

About You
Desired Skills and Experience
• Bachelor of Electrical Engineering (or studying your final year), preferably within the last 4 years, with specialisation in electrical, electronics and/or high voltage power engineering
• Must be studying your undergraduate degree at an Australian University
• A great attitude with a proactive mindset
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work effectively within a team environment
