Ulteig is hiring a Graduate Engineer-Civil Wind in Delaware to support renewable energy projects. The role involves routine engineering tasks, developing construction documents for utility-scale wind projects, and collaborating with experienced engineers. Candidates should have a B.S. in Civil Engineering, EIT certification (or ability to obtain), and experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D. The position requires strong communication skills and a commitment to client satisfaction.
Graduate Engineer-Civil Wind Ulteig is seeking talented and motivated candidates for a Graduate Civil Engineer supporting renewable development projects.
The Graduate Civil Engineer will be responsible for performing routine engineering tasks, and investigations or observations under supervision on renewable energy projects across the country.
Candidates should be self-motivated with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
They must also be able to work in a team environment.
We are looking for candidates that are committed to client satisfaction, and adhere strictly to client-driven standards, schedules, budgets, and passionate about the renewable energy industry.
The primary focus of this role will be the development of construction documents for the civil design scope of utility scale wind generation projects.


What You'll Do:


Assist in the development of construction plans and specifications of utility scale wind, solar and/or battery storage (BESS) renewable projects.
The primary focus of this role will be supporting our wind projects but also may support our solar and BESS portfolios as department workload demands.
Conducts project specification research to determine applicable building codes and ensuring specific project requirements are addressed in the design.
Works closely with experienced engineering technicians and engineers on multiple projects as assigned.
Complete typical civil design tasks including design calculation reports, grading and erosion control plans, construction details, and stormwater management design.
Design and production in AutoCAD Civil 3D software Prepare project quantity take-offs for civil design of renewable energy projects Support and development of project permit applications Technically involved with the resolution of design problems that may include performing field investigation or observations.
Complete work as assigned by project discipline leads, including performing necessary design calculations, drafting reports, and design plan preparation.

in Civil Engineering from an ABET accredited program or equivalent is required.
EIT certification or the ability to obtain within 1 year of hire Prior engineering internship experience preferred Ability to apply standard engineering principles and practices Proven experience in Microsoft Software Applications (Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook) Autodesk Civil 3D and AutoCAD experience desired Demonstrates openness to innovation by embracing and applying evolving technology and AI tools to enhance workflows, solve problems, and drive continuous improvement Ability to travel occasionally for field inspections and business/client meetings Must have authorization to work permanently in the US.

Target Base Compensation Range for this role is $77,300-$85,500
• Factors that may be used to determine your actual salary include your job specific skills, education, training, job location, number of years of experience related to this role and comparison to other employees already in this role.
