Job Description
Egis Group is hiring a Graduate Sustainability Consultant (Emirati National) in Dubai. The role involves conducting sustainability assessments, developing strategies, preparing reports, and collaborating with design teams. Candidates should have a relevant degree, strong analytical and research skills, and knowledge of sustainability in the built environment. This is a full-time position with no remote work options.
We are seeking a motivated and analytical Graduate Sustainability Consultant (Emirati National) to join our growing team in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. As a key member of our sustainability practice, you will contribute to developing innovative solutions that help our clients achieve their environmental and social responsibility goals.
• Assist in conducting sustainability assessments for various client projects.
• Contribute to the development of sustainability strategies on projects in coordination with the wider team.
• Assist in preparing comprehensive reports and presentations on sustainability features embedded in the project design.
• Collaborate with other design disciplines to ensure sustainability requirements are understood and implemented.
• Stay up-to-date with emerging trends, technologies, and best practices in sustainability.
• Assist in calculating carbon footprints and conducting life cycle assessments for products and services.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Sustainability, Engineering, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and provide meaningful insights.
• Excellent research skills and attention to detail.
• Knowledge of sustainability aspects of the built environment.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to convey technical information to non-technical audiences.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, particularly Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Understanding of sustainability principles, environmental regulations, and climate change issues.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Internships or academic projects in sustainability-related fields are a plus.
