About this Role

Morgan Stanley’s Global Sustainable Finance (GSF) team is seeking an Analyst to join their Products & Solutions team in New York. The role involves supporting research on sustainable finance topics, developing and maintaining client-facing materials, and coordinating internal projects and meetings. The candidate will be involved in executing innovative sustainable investing products and initiatives across various divisions such as Wealth Management and Investment Management. The position requires a strong ability to conduct both quantitative and qualitative research, synthesize findings, and produce key takeaways for corporate and executive-level audiences. This role offers the opportunity to work collaboratively in a global team setting and support projects across Morgan Stanley.

Responsibilities
• Support execution of sustainable investing products, tools, and initiatives.
• Conduct thorough quantitative and qualitative research using financial and sustainability data.
• Produce summary briefs and presentations for corporate and executive audiences.
• Assist with development and quality assurance of reports and presentations.
• Operate collaboratively as part of a global team supporting various projects.

Requirements
• Undergraduate degree; economics, finance, or sustainability coursework a plus.
• 0-2 years of work experience.
• Strong research capabilities, quantitative and qualitative analysis skills.
• Familiarity with Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) concepts.
• Experience with PowerPoint, Excel, or other data analysis tools.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to work as a team member and as a self-starter.
• Attention to detail with perseverance and drive for results.
• Prior experience in a global financial services firm is a plus.
