Job Description

Carbon Clean is seeking a Global Reward Partner for a 12-month FTC position in London, UK. The role involves developing reward strategies, managing recognition programs, overseeing salary benchmarking, and collaborating with finance and people teams. Candidates should have proven reward experience, strong organizational skills, and a passion for data. The position can be full-time or part-time (4-day week), emphasizing effective communication and inclusion in reward practices.
We are currently seeking a Global Reward Partner, to join our People team in our London, UK office. This is a 12 month FTC position which can either be full time or open to part-time (4 day working week) applicants.

Reward and Recognition Frameworks and Processes:
• Evolving the design and development of Carbon Clean’s Reward strategy to align with business objectives. Ensuring the strategy supports attraction, retention, and motivation of our people
• Oversee the end to end management of recognition programmes, ensuring they align with our values and engagement goals, and contributing to our EVP (employee value proposition).
• Partner with others across the business to develop innovative recognition initiatives, from milestone celebrations to peer recognition.
• Overseeing the salary benchmarking process and ensuring it is effective and robust. Lead on market intelligence and internal data to ensure that reward remains competitive and equitable.
• Leading all cyclical reward processes including bonus and incentive arrangements, promotions, preparation of annual salary budgets in advance, collaborating with the finance team, working with the business & people partners - with a continuous improvement mindset
• Ensuring our People clearly understand their rewards through communication strategies (e.g. pay transparency), including presentations, workshops, and informational materials. Work with the other SMEs within the wider People team to build on employee communications
• Manage the benefits programmes across our geographies, obtaining optimal quality, value and service from our providers
• Integrate wellbeing into our reward and recognition approach.
• Develop and iterate our job architecture, ensuring it always represents the way we are working focus on our long-term goals
• Evolve salary structures and total reward offerings in line with business needs
• Evaluate roles using job grading methodologies to maintain consistency across job families and levels
• Stay abreast of market trends and insights to remain competitive relevant to industry sector

Business Partnership
• Leading inclusion within Reward, partnering with the People team. Lead to champion positive progress and deliver on local reporting requirements (e.g.Gender Pay) and any other diversity requirements as we grow.
• Partner with our People Leaders and People Partner as the reward/job sizing subject matter expert to deliver successful organisation design, supporting our people partner and finance team to understand the true cost and sizing of proposed structures and job changes
• Operate as the reward SME for all business transactions, M&A's or major business change programmes.
• Partnering with Finance leadership to deliver seamless cost management for all elements of compensation
• Advise People Leaders and business leaders on pay decisions, policies and market trends

Requirements
• You're a people person with proven reward experience, in a fast-paced, progressive environment.

• You're an excellence seeker with a thirst for data! You have strong organizational skills, great attention to detail and strong Excel knowledge.
• Confidence working within this dynamic, constantly evolving environment; ability to adapt, manage ambiguity and resilience to work positively under pressure.
• The ability to manage and prioritize multiple time sensitive projects effectively.
• Confidence in your ability to collaborate closely with employees at all levels and to manage key partner relationships, both internal and external.
• Excellent interpersonal skills, with strong verbal & written communication skills
